Originally from West Palm Beach, Nico is a Florida based artist represented by The Art Plug Agency. Nico is also a creative director, community organizer, and youth empowerment enthusiast. After attending the BaK Middle School of the Arts and the Alexander W. Dreyfoos High School of the Arts in South Florida, she moved to Jacksonville to study at the University of North Florida. She left UNF after a few years to focus on art, and has since painted murals around the whole city, organized local art and music events, and developed various mural and arts initiatives including the Kid’s Mural Project. Through this project she has guided thousands of children in designing and painting murals in over thirty schools around Duval County. Nico is also a member of the Few and Far Crew, which is an international crew of street artists and graffiti writers, and as a crew member she works to empower women and girls through creative projects in her community and beyond. Nico’s current personal focus is on creative direction in various forms, progressive mural productions, and exploration of new mediums of expression. As an independent artist, Nico has worked with brands such as Pilot Pen, Redbull, Champion Brands, Void Magazine, Empire Records, Universal Records, Atlantic Record, Strata Clothing, The City of Jacksonville, The Jacksonville Jaguars, TIAA Bank, PNC Bank, Esdras Thelusma, Fredo Bang, Dj Shab, Dede Westbrook, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, XXXTentacion Foundation, Teavana Tea, Bustle, The Bushwick Collective, Monster Energy, Kona Skatepark, and Swisher Sweets. Nico has received a lot of recognition for her community work and murals and has won many awards including: “Visual Artist of the Year 2019” from Mieux Magazine, TIAA Bank “Community Champion” Award, “Production of the Year 2017: Color Me Kona” from the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville, and many more.
