“The Mural, titled “Tropical Osmosis” is a collaboration between south Floridas most recognized graffiti artists Aholsniffsglue and Gustavo Oviedo on a custom wall of canvas. The artwork depicts Miami’s diversity through different textures and techniques including oil stick, chalk and spray paint.
Ahol’s quintessential eyes represent Miami, and mixed with Gustavo’s marine artistic background – they create the perfect mix of contemporary and urban environment – embracing everything Mimi has to offer. Gustavo starts on the left and Ahol starts on the right side. They end up meeting and flowing into each other’s work, fusing like the concept of the restaurant which is a Japanese, Peruvian fusion.” – Marcel Katz (Curator)
