Edgar Plans was born in Madrid in 1977 and currently resides and works in Gijón, Asturias. His artistic journey commenced at the studio of the painter Jose María Ramos, where he honed his foundational skills in drawing and painting between 1995-1997. He pursued his academic pursuits further, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of Oviedo. His artistic oeuvre is marked by its fresh, lively, and expressive nature, with a strong emphasis on vibrant color palettes and tactile material usage. His paintings often exude a childlike allure, yet they harbor profound depths.
